The spring-activated rim flexes under pressure, similar to professional-style rims. The breakaway rim also protects the backboard and prevents player injuries. Using an all-steel crank actuator, the basketball hoop is adjusted from the NBA and NCAA regulation rim height of 10 feet to the safety-approved 7.5 feet. This product is backed by a 5-year limited warranty. The NXT is not compatible with the Silverback Yard Guard or Silverback Anchor Kit.
